AD/ADAS Safety Engineer

The project is about the development of a large-scale new vehicle architecture platform. The primary focus is on semi and fully automated driver assistance systems. The project involves designing modules for different types of vehicles, such as small cars, SUVs, and utility vehicles. It has been in progress for approximately a year and aims at the transition to electric software-defined vehicles. The fields include Autonomous Driving, Connectivity, Chassis, Infotainment, and others. It is a challenging and rewarding project that has the potential to make a significant impact in the Automotive field.

•  To contribute to the AI modules inner functional architectures design, by bringing the safety/SOTIF perspective and more precisely the safety ISO 26262/ ISO 21448 requirements breakdown process.
• To contribute to the AI modules’ detailed designs, by bringing architecture / algorithmic / operational solutions to cope with the safety/SOTIF demonstration objectives.
• To consolidate the global safety synthesis and check our capability to demonstrate the expected safety performances over the ODD.

•  First experience in System Engineering and Model-based System Engineering, and associated tools (SysML, Doors …);
• Experience in ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 requirements engineering (HARA…);
• Solid experience in the functional design of safety-critical systems;
• Good understanding of E/E and ECU architectures.

It's not essential but we appreciate if you also have:

• Background of control & command algorithms in AI model;
• Experienced with AD/ADAS embedded systems.
