This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a greenfield project. Highly motivated and passionate DevOps engineer to join one of the engineering chapters, to play a key role in designing and building highly scalable and distributed applications as part of the strategic future state architecture.
- design and build new ci/cd pipelines on azure devops, git, teamcity, kubectl, azure cli.
- participate in design and development of ci/cd pipelines on azure platform.
- develop scripts to automate the deployment of resource stacks and associated configurations.
- work with cloud engineering and networking teams and build infrastructure in azure.
- provision cloud infrastructure.
- educate other team members and advocate for scalable and maintainable architectural decisions.
- interface with enterprise azure cloud operation team to enable azure services for developers.
- provide support and troubleshooting issues reported by micro-strategy business users.
- keen to learn more about oracle and related database technologies to improve our existing systems.
MUST
- 7+ years of experience designing, developing, monitoring, and troubleshooting scalable, secure, and fail-tolerant systems.
- proven ability to apply solutions that cater to non-functional requirements, including stability, manageability, scalability, capacity, and performance.
- great experience in Azure Cloud services and their solution design.
- extensive experience navigating and understanding Linux OS and OS internals, with a deep understanding of infrastructure components such as compute, network, storage, authentication, and authorization.
- strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- understanding of DevOps principles and hands-on experience with CI/CD in automated environments. (Knowledge and experience with GitLab CICD is a big advantage.)
- expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Helm.
- strong experience in shell scripting is necessary.
- ability to conduct root cause analysis and take systematic and programmatic action on the findings.
