Consultant QNX BSP Engineer

GlobalLogic is inviting an experienced Consultant QNX BSP Engineer to join our engineering team.

• Our Client is one of the biggest European Automotive OEMs. We help our customers in the design and implement embedded software for the electronic control units of cars as well as related tools and frameworks.
• GlobalLogic team is responsible for the development, and integration validation of multiple Middleware applications and services for the current and next-generation car lines. We work in areas of a remote software update, telematics & connectivity, context-aware systems, and application platforms.
• We are committed to modern development methodologies and tools like continuous integration, agile development, and test automation to design and implement innovative and high-quality software.
• In the scope of the engagement, you will take management leadership over several teams working on various solutions for Automotive Middleware components. Teams are working by a Scrum process with good support of internal tools and well-established Scrum rituals. Intensive verbal and written communication with the customer team members is expected.

• Work on QNX BSP management, integration, and bug fixing.
• Integration of QNX SDP updates.
• Perform hardware bring-up of QNX platform.
• CVE management.
• OSS management.

• Good knowledge of C/C++
• 5+ Experience with embedded software development.
• Knowledge of QNX device drivers, QNX OS, and QNX programming
• Experience with QNX Software Development Platform
• Experience working with development tools like GIT, and Continuous Integration.
• Experience working with different embedded microprocessors based on Qualcomm, TI, NXP, or similar
• Experience with Board Support Packages, device drivers, and boot loader development.
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging complex issues, good analytical skills
• Good communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Experience with embedded security (hardening, CVE)
• Experience with board bringup with different embedded microprocessors based on Qualcomm, TI, NXP, or similar
