We are looking for a competent DevOps-engineer that can help the squads with setting-up automated regression-tests. Our Tribe is responsible for the development and maintenance of all applications with regard to document composition, digital communication, print management, scanning, data capture and archiving. 

We are working with state of the art inhouse developed Java applications in combination with commercial off-the-shelf software packages. Within our Tribe we develop and maintain a diversity of API’s, FE and BE applications. Continuous testing has been implemented on component level consisting of, mainly heuristic, testcases. On the road to a complete end-to-end test, we expect squads first to have regression tests both at the API, FE and BE level in order to save a significant amount of time and reduce the likelihood of introducing errors. 
This job description is specifically about finding a DevOps engineer with knowledge and experience about setting-up and implementing automatic regression tests on API level. We are looking for someone who can bring in the knowledge of testing and test-tooling, but also can guide squads in realizing an actual API regression suite.

We are looking for you if:

  • You have knowledge and experience of test approaches (preferably ISTQB or TMAP certified),
  • You know Java,
  • You have experience with Requirements Engineering with Cucumber (Gherkin),
  • You have experience with testing API calls (Postman),
  • You have experience with Wiremock
  • You are able to identify problems, analyze key information and propose the best solutions,
  • You are a team player,
  • You speak English language at the B2 level.


Additionally, you will score for:

  • RedHat Linux knowledge,
  • XML, JSON, Scripting knowledge,
  • Agile/Scrum and DevOps knowledge,
  • Knowledge of Continuous Delivery tools: Ansible, GIT, Azure Devops.
