Cyber Security Specialist

The role will require you to have a technical background, understanding of cloud services, security technologies, security controls and security best practice.

The ideal candidate will need to be proficient in security capabilities, particularly in a cloud environment, and wider general security best practice. Where up skilling is required, this will be provided through both peer knowledge share and training.

•  Managing operation of the various SIEMs  i.e. partly operational collaboration and control of the SIEM service and the associated partners at all levels (QRadar & Azure Sentinel)
• Supporting internal units, e.g. how their products can be connected to the SIEM and to monitor by use cases
• Track the detection, analysis and assessment of cyber-attacks and compliance violations
• Additionally support provision and further development of security solutions alongside the SIEM
• Supporting client in managing incident response
• Assisting by responding to security incidents according to PlayBooks that have been developed, also monitor further development and adaptation to the SIEM and their results

•  Work experience with SIEM
• Deep understanding of cloud service architecture with emphasis on security in the cloud
• Solid understanding of modern information security methodologies and standards, especially in cloud environment
• Cloud/Security certification desired
• Practice with modern DevSecOps with automation (nice to have)
• Ability to automate repetitive tasks (scripting skills in Bash/PowerShell/ Python)
