You will join an international technology team responsible for building and maintaining scalable backend systems that support critical global logistics and operational processes. The platforms are enterprise‑grade, high‑availability solutions processing large volumes of data and transactions across multiple regions.
As a Backend Developer, you will work on designing, developing, and improving Java‑based services and APIs, collaborating closely with frontend developers, QA, architects, and product owners in an agile environment. The role focuses on clean architecture, performance, security, and reliability, following modern engineering standards and best practices.
The position requires regular presence in the Prague office, as on‑site collaboration is essential for effective communication, technical alignment, and close interaction with key stakeholders.
The department is delivering build (projects) and run (support) services for the main companie's website. To enhance a functionality of the existing platform, we will be expanding our footprint by setting up a new development team which will be delivering microservices for the platform. In the initial stage the team will consist of 6 team members (scrum master, lead developer, front-end developer, backend developer, tester and DevOps engineer) based in Europe and India.
