Senior Test Specialist (AWS, TypeScript, API)

Summary: 

The role of the Test Specialist is to ensure quality assurance throughout the development process, particularly important in a transitioning environment towards DevOps and AWS migration. This role is vital to foster a culture of quality and improve automated testing capabilities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Advocate for a quality mindset across the team.
• Ensure quality from start to end of the development cycle.
• Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria.
• Gather information from stakeholders actively.
• Evaluate the product's behavior and characteristics; exhibit critical thinking.
• Ensure independent testing is maintained.
• Contribute positively to team goals.

Key Requirements:

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
• Minimum of 8 years experience as a tester in an agile team.
• Senior profile with a minimum of 8 years experience.
• Experience in test automation.
• Strong communication skills.
• API and UI test automation experience (minimum 8 years).
• Knowledge of REST, SOAP, and MFT.
• Experience testing AWS services (e.g., Lambda, Step functions).
• Experience with infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of the “Life & Pension Insurance” domain.
