About the Project & Role

KD Pharma is launching a company-wide Data Revolution initiative to modernise its data platform and reporting landscape. Power BI is at the heart of the current BI environment, and the company is now moving towards a more scalable, consistent and well-governed approach to analytics and reporting. As a Senior BI Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping how KD Pharma uses data across the business. You’ll combine hands-on Power BI development, data analysis, stakeholder management and BI governance to:

  • Turn complex business needs into clear BI solutions
  • Build and improve Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models
  • Work with business stakeholders to define meaningful KPIs and metrics
  • Improve data quality, consistency and reporting standards
  • Partner with the Data/BI engineering team as the new data platform evolves
  • Help establish scalable BI processes and best practices

Responsibilities

  • Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting, analytics and information requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into BI solutions, reporting specifications and data requirements.
  • Design and develop dashboards, reports and analytical outputs.
  • Analyse and interpret complex datasets to support business decision-making.
  • Define and maintain reporting metrics, KPIs and business definitions.
  • Support data transformation and data-model design for reporting and analytics.
  • Investigate data-quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
  • Ensure reports and analytical outputs are accurate, consistent and fit for purpose.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, application teams and business users across the full delivery lifecycle.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Support improvements to reporting processes, governance and BI standards.
  • Prioritise BI requirements and help manage the reporting/analytics backlog.
  • Provide guidance and support to other analysts where appropriate.
  • Introduce a change-request gate and a report-certification standard for the estate, and retire redundant reports.
  • Operationalise the report subscriptions and status-rule scorecards already prototyped but never rolled out.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to go beyond simply building reports and have a real impact on how BI is built and used across an international organisation.
