Role Overview
Join NVIDIA's Nemotron Harness team. We are leaders in AI research, exploring machine learning, reinforcement learning, computer vision and natural language processing. As a Research Scientist, you will work on projects that seek to redefine general intelligence. Responsibilities
- Conduct groundbreaking research to advance the science and technology of intelligent machines.
- Co-develop models with harnesses, increasing task horizon, improving memory and general intelligence capabilities in VLM/LLM systems.
- Work towards daring long-term research goals, while identifying and achieving immediate achievements.
- Influence the research community through high-quality publications and collaborative efforts.
- Open source high-quality code and ensure the reproducibility of your research.

Required Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent.
- 6+ years of experience in Computer Science, relevant technical field, or similar, completed prior to joining NVIDIA.
- Research background in machine learning, artificial intelligence, computational statistics, or applied mathematics.
- A consistent track record of research publications demonstrating experience in theoretical or empirical research.
- Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages for developing and debugging.
- Expertise in analyzing and collecting data from various sources.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building and analyzing large-scale models for vision, language, speech, or general agents.
- Established in guiding the development of AI research communities.
- Prior experience with open-source projects.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and collaboratively.
