About our Internship Program
We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our team, who will work side-by-side with experienced professionals and use modern AI engineering practices to build meaningful solutions in the emergency management and response domain. This 6-month program offers hands-on experience, exposure to modern engineering and product practices, and the chance to contribute to real products used worldwide. You'll join a supportive environment that values learning, innovation, collaboration, and aims to integrate AI tools into everyday engineering. The program is planned to start in the second half of September 2026, with flexibility based on intern availability.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with your team to build and improve software features with the support of a senior engineer
- Use AI-assisted coding tools as part of your daily development process
- Participate actively in all team meetings (stand-ups, refinements, planning, demos)
- Take ownership of assigned work and communicate progress clearly within the team

Requirements
- Some experience on mobile app development, TypeScript, and JavaScript is a must
- Familiarity with source repositories (Git or another version control system)
- Experience building web applications (UI+API+DB)
- Basic understanding of Agile principles
- Willingness to learn and experiment with AI coding assistant tools
- Good communication in English
- A proactive, open mindset and willingness to take responsibility for your work
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with React Native framework
- Basic understanding automated testing, i.e. unit, integration or E2E
- Experience using AI code generation agents
- Exposure to cloud environments (e.g. Azure, AWS)
