Application Engineer - Power Conversion Systems
The Applications Engineer, Power Conversion Systems, is an individual contributor who provides technical leadership and customer-facing expertise for Dynapower’s Clean Energy business segments. This role supports both customers and the frontline sales team by applying broad technical insight to evaluate projects from multiple perspectives and guide optimal system design.
Partnering closely with sales, product management, and engineering, the Applications Engineer helps define requirements, develop solutions, and support system integration across the full pre- and post-sales lifecycle. Leveraging deep expertise in power electronics and BESS/renewable energy infrastructure, the role translates customer priorities—such as efficiency, redundancy, grid interaction, and scalability—into practical, compliant solutions. With significant technical influence, this position plays a key role in driving customer adoption and supporting growth in the Power Conversion Systems market.
General Responsibilities
- Leads the process of providing technical sales support to assure successful customer integration d organization products
- Pre-sales activities include gaining understanding of customer's business and analysis of customer's system and product needs
- Leads the preparation and presentation of technical proposals of how organization's products can meet those needs and be integrated and implemented with customer's systems and equipment
- Handles the preparation and presentation of customer systems/equipment needs plan to organization teams to assure complete plan is feasible within cost, time, and environment constraints
