As a Senior Market Data Analyst within Data Management, you will support, govern and improve the investment data used by Man’s portfolio managers, researchers, traders, engineers and data scientists. The role combines technical data analysis, market data expertise, operational ownership and stakeholder support to ensure that core market, reference and alternative datasets are accurate, well governed, correctly permissioned and easily consumable across the firm.
The role has a particular focus on Market Data Operations, including Bloomberg and LSEG entitlements, real-time data feeds, licensed vendor products, security master content, instrument reference data, identifier mapping, enterprise data usage tracking, cost attribution, and exchange declaration/audit support. You will help define and improve scalable operating processes, SLAs, runbooks, controls, escalation paths and global coverage models, while proactively identifying data quality issues and automating manual workflows.
You will be part of the Data Management team within Man Technology’s Data & AI department, working across London and Sofia. The team is responsible for data ingestion, data governance, security master maintenance, data quality assurance, metadata curation, usage analysis and market data permissions. The function aims to improve Man’s investment data estate by building scalable data operations, accelerating data onboarding, improving data discoverability and enabling faster, smarter decisions for investment teams.
