You will join a dedicated DXC Luxoft team embedded within the client's connectivity testing department. The assignment covers verification of the TCAM (Telematics & Connectivity Antenna Module) — the cellular modem embedded in modern connected vehicles — across simulated mobile network conditions representing 2G, 3G, LTE, and 5G technologies.

The work is structured as an increment commitment: the team owns a defined area of responsibility and delivers features quarterly, aligned to the client's Quarterly Sync planning cadence. The engagement starts with onboarding in October 2026 and runs through 31 December 2028.

TCAM Verification

  • Verify TCAM cellular modem behavior (TCAM 1.1, 2, 3, 4) in simulated network conditions
  • Test voice, SMS, and data services across GSM, 3G, LTE, and 5G technologies
  • Verify eCall, legal eCall, and next-generation eCall functionality
  • Test DualAPN logic for multiple markets (HU, RO, SK, IS, GR)
  • Validate VoLTE/VoNR, IMS Registration, and circuit-switched voice behavior
  • Test network reject code handling and modem recovery logic
  • Verify eCall-only mode for country-specific regulatory requirements

Test Automation & CI

  • Develop and maintain automated test cases using Robot Framework and Python
  • Migrate existing test suite to TCAM2; extend coverage to TCAM3 and TCAM4
  • Maintain and improve the CI/CD pipeline (Git, Gerrit, Jenkins) — keep the pipeline green
  • Integrate test results into CarWeaver verification verdict system
  • Manage defects and work items in Jira

Simulator & Lab Operations

  • Operate and maintain mobile network simulators: Keysight Anite 9000 (SAS), Keysight UXM E7515A, and R&S CMW/CMX500
  • Develop and maintain simulator services in Python
  • Ensure simulator availability and reliability for the test team

SME Contributions

  • Act as subject matter expert during TCAM and mobile network troubleshooting
  • Review planned TCAM implementations for Network Friendliness Mode
  • Investigate voice-centric to data-centric mode migration requirements
  • Contribute to pre-certification testing for new TCAM variants with mobile network operators

MUST
  • Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for test automation
  • Python scripting — test frameworks, simulator services, data processing
  • Solid understanding of cellular technologies: GSM, 3G, LTE, 5G
  • Knowledge of mobile network protocols: NAS signaling, EMM, IMS, VoLTE
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Gerrit or similar, Jenkins)
  • Ability to read and interpret 3GPP specifications
  • Experience with defect tracking and work management in Jira
  • Comfortable with Linux-based toolchains and command-line environments
  • Direct experience with Keysight Anite 9000, Keysight UXM E7515A, or R&S CMW/CMX500
NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience in automotive telematics or connected car platforms
  • Familiarity with eCall standards (EN 16072, 3GPP TS 26.267)
  • Experience with MQTT-based service communication
  • Knowledge of CarWeaver or similar verification verdict management tools
  • Previous work in an OEM or Tier-1 automotive supplier environment
  • Experience with modem configuration and market adaptation testing
