The MDM/MDG Testing Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and governing all testing activities related to Master Data Management and SAP Master Data Governance. The role ensures end-to-end validation of master data processes, migration activities, interfaces, and business scenarios across the program.

The project team has more than 200 people.

  1. Testing Visibility
  • Provide a consolidated view of testing status, quality, and readiness across MDM and MDG workstreams.
  • Track and report readiness across: Integration Testing, End-to-end Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Non-functional Testing.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and escalate risks, gaps, and dependencies impacting delivery milestones.
  • Ensure senior leadership has a reliable, transparent, and decision ready view of testing progress.
  1. User Acceptance Testing
  • Own and coordinate data UAT across the program.
  • Ensure data solutions and workflows are validated against business processes, requirements, and expected outcomes.
  • Enforce UAT entry and exit criteria, including data readiness and defect thresholds.
  • Align and mobilize business stakeholders, SMEs, and process owners for UAT participation and formal sign-off.
  1. E2E Testing Support
  • Support the Test Managers for SAP, non-SAP and E2E who owns and coordinates related testing activities across domains (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Commercial).
  • Ensure alignment with SAP CoE, Enterprise Architecture, and System Integrator teams.
  1. Planning, Reporting, and Stakeholder Management
  • Ensure data testing plans are fully integrated with overall program planning and release cycles.
  • Report testing status, risks, and decisions
  • Serve as the single point of contact for data testing topics.
  1. Management of Technical Test Coordinators
  • Coordinate a team of users supporting SAP and non-SAP testing activities across the program.
  • Provide clear direction on scope, priorities, and ways of working for users and program members, ensuring alignment with the overall Testing Strategy.
  • Ensure consistent application of testing standards and entry/exit criteria.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for data technical testing issues, dependencies, and resourcing constraints.
  • Foster strong collaboration between Data Team, Product Teams, Platform (QA & SRE), SAP CoE, and System Integrators.
  • Support knowledge sharing within the testing community across the program.

MUST

o 8+ years of experience in testing, QA or ERP delivery environments.

o Proven Test Manager experience in SAP programs.

o Strong SAP S/4HANA and MDG knowledge.

o Experience with Data Migration and validation.

o Strong communication skills.

o Experience working with System Integrators and complex vendor ecosystems.

o Experience with test automation tools
