Test Coordinator (ICH / Workday)

This role is a key quality and delivery coordination position within a large-scale Workday and HR transformation programme. You will be responsible for ensuring that all testing activities are properly structured, executed, and governed across multiple phases and global teams. Acting as the central coordination point for testing efforts, you will oversee strategy, planning, execution, and reporting in a complex multi-vendor environment. The role requires strong discipline in quality assurance, traceability, and defect management to ensure reliable and compliant system releases. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to align testing outcomes with project goals. This is a highly visible position where your coordination directly contributes to the success of critical HR and ERP transformation initiatives.
Accountabilities:
- Define and maintain the overall test strategy, including scope, approach, governance, quality gates, and entry/exit criteria.
- Develop and manage detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Ensure full requirements traceability through RTM and maintain testing documentation throughout the lifecycle.
- Coordinate execution across SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing phases.
- Monitor testing progress, coverage, risks, and quality metrics, ensuring delivery against timelines and milestones.
- Manage end-to-end defect lifecycle, including logging, triage, prioritisation, resolution, validation, and closure.
- Facilitate defect triage sessions and collaborate with development and vendor teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Act as the central point of contact for all testing activities across business and technical stakeholders.
- Produce and present regular reporting, including test progress updates, defect dashboards, and readiness assessments.
- Support UAT coordination, ensuring business users are guided and sign-off is successfully achieved.
