Skilled QA Engineer is needed to help work on the transaction management, regulation and reporting systems for the Exchange Traded Derivatives platform. This platform includes major functions that involves clearing, settlement and reporting of futures, options and swap products. These systems are fully enterprise integration server side core java systems based on in memory and event driven data feeds.

  • Crisis Management & Test Strategy: Took ownership of a critical release with 2 months remaining, zero existing tests, and incomplete scope. Develop and execute an immediate manual Test Plan and Strategy to achieve quality release
  • Technical Leadership & Architecture: Lead the design and development of a future-proof, modular automation framework using Java 21, Selenide, and JUnit 5 for UI testing, and RestAssured for robust API validation.
  • Integration & Backend Testing: Configure Spring Boot integrations to connect with Azure ADF.
  • Compliance & Functional Coverage: Focusing testing efforts on the complex conflict check rules engine and accurate jurisdictional logic.
  • E2E and Security Testing: Define and execute critical End-to-End (E2E) workflow scenarios and implemented security checks, including 2-Factor Authentication and geo-location-based user access validation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage proactively with BAs/POs to ensure clarity in user stories and fit testing activities into the broader organizational timeline by participating in Scrum of Scrums with management.

MUST
  • Min. 8-9 years experience with full independent Java testing skills and technical leadership
