DevOps Engineer SAP Services NN Life & NN Non-Life

You play a key part in ensuring that payments are sent to the banks on time and that pension beneficiaries receive their payouts promptly, processes that have a direct impact on our customers and on NN’s reliability.
What you are going to do
Your responsibility focuses on the collections and disbursements process for NN Life and NN Non‑Life, ensuring that these processes run smoothly and efficiently:
- Ensures the technical implementation of efficient business processes and performs functional maintenance, as well the operational changes for SAP CD across NN Life and NN Non‑Life
- Monitors, analyses, and resolves incidents and disruptions, including root‑cause analysis across both functional and technical layers in the SAP-ERP domain, and delivers improvements effectively
- Safeguards system stability and reliability, contributing to technical operations, FRR key controls, monitoring, and overall SAP CD performance
- Acts as a bridge between business and IT, collaborating effectively with managers, stakeholders, and users at all organizational levels to align expectations and outcomes
- Works in an Agile way in a DevOps environment, taking full ownership from idea and design through implementation and run, with a continuous‑improvement mindset
Who you will work with
The IT Global Business Services team, part of NN Group Finance, is responsible for the functional and technical management of finance systems: SAP CD, SAP ICM, SAP FiCO, Nomentia, and Proactis, which support NN’s finance operational processes. The team oversees system maintenance, development, change activities, and daily operations, with a strong focus on automation and continuous improvement in the areas of payments, credit management, cash management, and invoice handling. In addition, the team ensures reliable system performance by monitoring and maintaining key controls. IT Global Business Services works closely with all international business units, as well as NN Group Corporate Treasury and NN Bank Treasury, and consists of 45 FTE in total.

T‑shaped SAP professional with strong functional expertise, solid technical affinity, and strong experience in the SAP domain. Experience with NN processes or systems is an advantage * Broad understanding of financial processes, change management, and the Agile way of working * Able to switch naturally between functional analysis, stakeholder communication, and technical problem‑solving, with a structured and analytical approach * Comfortable working with technical topics such as interfaces, data flows, key-controls, and system behavior — without necessarily being a developer * Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills; able to work effectively at all organizational levels and guide teams toward shared goals and product vision * Collaborative team player, flexible and adaptable, able to work smoothly with colleagues from different backgrounds and levels * Excellent proficiency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written * Education level: HBO
