Core banking system for client in several countries is run by a talented team that works on mission-critical applications. The team provides a wide range of services to end customers within Temenos space, including delivering new features and running support services. The Team consists of experienced consultants and boasts an informal atmosphere based on collaboration and trust.

Development & Customization

  • Develop T24 customizations including:

o Local routines (COB, ONLINE, ENQUIRY, VERSION, OFS)

o Batch jobs and EOD/BOD processes

o Interfaces (OFS, IRIS, APIs, MQ, ESB)

o Enquiries and reports

  • Modify and enhance:

o Versions, templates, applications, browser layer, and field properties

  • Develop and maintain T24 services (TAFJ/TAFC).
  • Ensure code is efficient, upgrade friendly, and aligned with Temenos coding standards.

System Configuration & Parameterization

  • Parameterize T24 modules such as AA, FT, PM, ST, LD, MM, SE, AC, Limits & Collateral etc.
  • Configure new products (e.g., loans, deposits, payments, treasury instruments).
  • Apply correct workflow rules, validations, customer/application parameters.
  • Support business analysts with designing and implementing functional setups.

Integration Development

  • Build and maintain integrations using:

o OFS messaging

o Web services (SOAP/REST APIs)

o MQ

  • Implement message transformations, parsing, mapping, and validations.
  • Troubleshoot interface errors and improve end to end performance and resilience.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Write unit test scripts and confirm code correctness before SIT.
  • Support SIT/UAT by addressing defects quickly and accurately.
  • Perform regression testing after patches, upgrades, or new customizations.
  • Ensure proper logging, error handling, and traceability in the code.

Production Support & Issue Resolution

  • Provide Level 2/3 support for T24 issues.
  • Debug production incidents by analyzing logs, OFS messages, routines, and tables.
  • Fix issues using root cause analysis to avoid repeated failures.
  • Optimize COB performance by reviewing batch routines and parameters.
  • Support deployment activities, hotfixes, and release packaging.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain up to date documentation including:

o Technical Specification Document (TSD)

o Interface specs

o Release notes

o Deployment guides

  • Ensure alignment with IT governance, audit, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Support traceability of requirements → development → testing → deployment.

MUST

Strong hands-on experience with T24:

  • TAFC, jBASE
  • T24 customizations (local routines, ENQUIRY, VERSION)
  • AA (Arrangement Architecture) product factory

Strong knowledge of:

  • T24 tables, applications, and architecture
  • OFS and IRIS integration frameworks
  • COB/EOD processing

Hands-on scripting experience:

  • jBASE,
  • Unix shell script,
  • Java services,
  • XML/JSON parsing.
  • Creating versions, enquiries, routines, services.
