We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst with strong exposure to Capital Markets to support the implementation and evolution of Front Office and/or Middle/Back Office IT solutions. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into functional specifications and ensure successful delivery of market finance systems.
- Act as a liaison between business teams (Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office) and IT teams
- Gather, analyze, and formalize business requirements related to Capital Markets activities
- Participate in the implementation and integration of Capital Markets software solutions (e.g. Orchestrade, Calypso, Murex)
- Define functional specifications, workflows, and data models
- Support system configuration, testing activities (UAT, regression tests), and production deployment
- Analyze and optimize business processes related to trading, risk, valuation, or post-trade activities
- Provide functional support and contribute to incident analysis and resolution
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and IT solutions
MUST
- Previous experience in Capital Markets within an Asset Servicer, Asset Manager, or Investment Bank
- Proven track record in the implementation of Capital Markets packaged solutions such as:
o Orchestrade
o Calypso
o Murex
- Strong understanding of Front Office (FO) or Middle/Back Office (MO/BO) processes
- Trade lifecycle (execution, confirmation, settlement)
- Financial instruments (derivatives, equities, fixed income, FX, etc.)
- Risk management, pricing, valuation, or collateral management (depending on scope)
- Business and functional analysis
- Requirements documentation and process modeling
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a complex environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
- Experience with regulatory constraints impacting Capital Markets
- Exposure to data flows, interfaces, and system integration
- Background in SQL or data analysis tools
