Join ICON as a Pharmacometrics Support Programmer, working directly with one of our major global biopharma partners through an embedded Functional Service Provider model. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high‑impact clinical development programs while benefiting from ICON’s supportive structure, training, and collaborative environment.
In this position, you will take a key role in analysing clinical trial data, with a strong focus on R programming, pharmacokinetics, and NONMEM modelling. Your expertise will help ensure the delivery of high‑quality statistical outputs that support critical decision‑making across clinical studies.
What You Will Be Doing
- Developing, validating, and maintaining R programs for statistical analysis and reporting of clinical trial data.
- Applying your PK and NONMEM expertise to support population modelling, dose‑exposure evaluations, and advanced statistical analyses.
- Collaborating closely with biostatisticians to define statistical analysis plans, contribute to methodology decisions, and implement modelling strategies.
- Performing rigorous quality control (QC) checks on datasets, models, and output to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to regulatory expectations.
- Supporting the preparation of statistical summaries, reports, presentations, and documentation for regulatory submissions and internal reviews.
- Contributing to continuous process improvement by identifying efficiencies, sharing best practices, and enhancing programming workflows within the FSP team.

Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in statistical programming within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research environment.
- Strong proficiency in R programming.
- Hands‑on experience with PK analysis and NONMEM modelling.
- Solid understanding of statistical principles, data structures, and clinical trial methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively as part of an embedded sponsor‑facing team.
