What you are going to do
- Support Product Owners and developers by defining technical solutions for complex functional issues
- Safeguard and improve development standards and guide junior and medior developers to deliver according to those standards
- Analyse and resolve complex incidents.
Who you will work with
Within our Administration Product Platform department, we work in various (international) DevOps scrum teams. These teams focus on our advisor, employer, and employee processes. During PI planning, each team determines their priorities for the upcoming quarter based on stakeholder direction.

You have proven experience as an IT Developer and a strong track record in SAP Claims Management. You're used to working in an agile environment and value communication, collaboration, and proactiveness.
- HBO/WO working and thinking level
- Strong command of the English language – Dutch is a plus
- At least 5 years of demonstrable experience with customizing and software development in the SAP Claims Management module
- Basic ITIL/ITSM knowledge
- Basic knowledge of Agile working
- Curiosity and a drive to work smarter and continuously improve (e.g., using AI)
- Living in the Netherlands and willing to work at the Rotterdam office one or more days a week
Nice to have:
- Object-oriented thinking.
- Demonstrable senior experience developing in ABAP and OO-driven ABAP
- Knowledge of SAP Insurance Suite, including basic knowledge of SAP FS-CM (Claims) and the interaction between FS-PM and msg.PM
- Experience in software development in the SAP Policy Management module
- Experience with unit test frameworks and creating complex (automated) unit tests
- Knowledge of DC pension schemes and the Dutch pension system
- Experience working in guilds/circles and having made an active contribution
- Experience working with Azure DevOps and ServiceNow
