We are seeking a QA Engineer to execute quality assurance for our voice and conversational AI platforms, including Genesys, Cognigy, and integrations with AWS-hosted systems. You will be responsible for test execution — including manual, regression, and automated test coverage for voice workflows and backend APIs. 

This position plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless and compliant user experience across IVR, voicebots, and customer contact channels.

How you will get the job done 

  • designing and executing manual and automated test cases for voicebot logic, IVR flows, call routing, and backend integrations 
  • coordinating and executing end-to-end regression and integration testing across Genesys, Cognigy, CRM, and AWS services 
  • reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide feedback 
  • participating in story refinements to define clear and testable acceptance criteria 
  • collaborating with developers, analysts, and product owners to validate requirements and user stories 
  • preparing own test data, call simulation, and validation scripts 
  • managing test environments, tracking defects, and following through to resolution 
  • supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users and external vendors 
  • ensuring that testing aligns with regulatory, security, and operational requirements (e.g., GDPR, DORA)

  • fluency in English and German language proficiency (at least B2) 
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing or QA roles, ideally with 2+ years in voice/contact centre testing 
  • strong understanding of IVR systems, voicebot logic, call flows, and telephony integration 
  • experience designing test cases for multi-channel conversational interfaces 
  • experience working in Agile/Kanban teams and contributing to sprint ceremonies 
  • familiarity with API testing and voice channel integrations 
  • strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with distributed delivery teams

  • knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, or similar)
