As a Power BI Specialist/Business Analyst, your mission will be to design, develop and maintain advanced reporting and visualization solutions while supporting business stakeholders in defining and validating reporting requirements.

We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts:

  • You will design, develop and maintain advanced dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • You will build and optimize data models (relationships, star schema, performance tuning)
  • You will develop complex DAX calculations and business metrics
  • You will ensure high standards of data quality, performance and usability of reporting solutions
  • You will gather and clarify reporting requirements with business stakeholders
  • You will define and document KPI logic and reporting rules
  • You will act as a bridge between Business, IT and Data teams, ensuring alignment of expectations
  • You will use SQL to analyze data and validate data quality of implemented solutions
  • You will support UAT processes and ensure delivered solutions meet agreed requirements
  • You will document your solutions in Santander's tools: JIRA, Confluence, ALM
  • You will work in Scrum methodology and be part of a high-performance team
  • You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices in BI and visualization

MUST
  • Experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics (3-6+ years)
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI
  • Advanced knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL (data analysis and validation)
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders
  • Understanding of data warehouse and ETL concepts
  • Experience working in SCRUM or other Agile frameworks
  • Proactive and analytical mindset - able to independently explore issues and propose improvements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Understanding of banking and/or financial services industry
  • Very good command of English (at least B2+)

Preferred qualifications

  • Financial products in the wholesale banking environment (Fxs, bonds, equities, etc).
  • Software development projects. Software development life cycle (HP ALM,..).
  • Exposure to Big Data / cloud environments
  • Microsoft Power BI certifications (e.g., PL-300)
  • Knowledge of Power Apps or Python
  • Spanish will be a plus
