THE WORK:

Although no two days at Accenture are the same, as Tax expert in our Tax Strategy & Consulting practice, a typical day might include:

• Re-shaping our clients’ Tax Function to address emerging trends in tax compliance and reporting regulations, boost effectiveness and efficiency while adapting to challenging and rapidly changing market conditions
• Acting as an expert while working with Accenture’s global teams to shape and help clients develop cutting edge and industry leading solutions
• Providing services to our clients from global corporate entities including Energy, Consumer Goods, High Tech, Retail, Life Sciences, and other industries on a wide range of topics covering Indirect Tax, Direct Tax, and Transfer Pricing

• Individual support of a People Lead and a specific path of professional development, as well as the possibility of a session with a Coach.

• Headquarter in Warsaw.  
• Traveling to work with prestigious clients and deliver large-scale transformational change. We deliver our work in hybrid model, remotely, in our offices but also traveling and working closely with our Clients in their offices. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. That is why traveling declaration, willingness and ability to work at client locations mostly across Europe and beyond, for short or long term, is required.   
• The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office—depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning, and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs. 

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree
• Min. 3 years of experience, preferably in a consulting company
• Experience in (global) process design and improvement with Excise Duty as a key business driver
• Knowledge of multi-country Excise Duty regulations, calculation, accounting, and reporting
• Experience in (global) process design and improvement with Excise Duty as a key business driver
• Ability to embed Excise requirements into Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Compliance processes
• Experience building Excise Duty capabilities across cross-functional teams (Finance & IT)
• Optional: Hands-on business implementation of enabling systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or similar market solutions for ED
• Industry experience for Excise Duty (Tobacco, Alcohol, Oil&Gas etc.)
• Great communication and presentation skills
• Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken) required

BONUS POINTS IF YOU ARE AND HAVE:

• Platforms related experience SAP/Oracle
• Other foreign EU language e.g. German, French, Italian
