The Software Systems Engineer develops, modifies and codes software systems programming applications. Responsible for evaluating and preparing system engineering and technical analyses; documents, proposals for change, and other technical documentation.
General Responsibilities
- Key participant in the development of end-user tools for data analysis, reporting and work flow processes with database communication
- Collaborate on analyzing the existing software and improving the processes
- Organize the Design and Test Lab departments on requirements of new functionality
- Key participant in integration of in-house software for our test equipment
- Taking part in on-site software debugging, machines further adaptation and optimization

- Automation and Integration: Work closely with automation engineers to integrate software solutions with hardware and machinery, enhancing production efficiency and reducing downtime.
- Process Improvement: Analyze manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities for automation and process optimization through software solutions.
- System Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for manufacturing software systems, including diagnosing and resolving issues to ensure minimal disruption to production.
- Data Management: Develop and maintain databases and software solutions for data collection, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making in manufacturing operations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, quality assurance teams, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet the specific needs of manufacturing processes.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for software applications, including user manuals, system architecture diagrams, and support guides.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all software solutions comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to manufacturing staff on the use of new software tools and systems.
