Let’s fix hospitality, for good.

Hospitality is tough – margins are thin, waste is high, and teams are stretched. But it doesn’t have to be this hard. That’s why we built Nory.

Our CEO, Conor, knows the pain first-hand. After founding and scaling Mad Egg in Ireland, he got fed up with juggling “market-leading” systems, clunky spreadsheets, and endless printouts. So he set out to build the tool he wished he’d had from day one.

Nory is an all-knowing restaurant management system. It blends real-time data with AI predictive analytics, giving operators control of their margins. From food prep to forecasting, it’s operational intelligence that helps restaurants run with consistency, certainty, and profit. The result? Thriving restaurants, better jobs, less waste, healthier margins. Learn more about what we are building here.

Fresh off a Series B led by Kinnevik, we’ve grown to 80+ people across Ireland, the UK, Spain and New York – and Enterprise demand is accelerating fast.

The role

We’re now hiring a Forward Deployed Data Scientist to support our growing Enterprise customer base. This is a high-impact, client-facing role at the intersection of Data, Product and Customer Success. You’ll work directly with large hospitality operators to deploy Nory’s AI platform across multi-site estates – ensuring successful rollout, adoption and measurable operational improvement.

You won’t just build models. You’ll ensure they land, scale and drive real-world outcomes. You will act as the algorithmic face of Nory in Enterprise environments – building trust in our AI, validating that it works, and helping operators understand how to get the most value from it.

📍 This role is Enterprise-focused and London-centric in the short term. Regular on-site time with London-based customers should be expected, particularly during rollout phases.

What you’ll be doing

As a senior Forward Deployed Data Scientist, you will act as the technical anchor within Enterprise engagements – translating complex operational environments into structured, deployable solutions across the full customer lifecycle, from pilot to optimisation.

You will regularly engage with Operations Directors, Finance leads, IT stakeholders and C-suite decision-makers. Credibility in the room matters.

  • Own technical delivery within Enterprise rollouts, ensuring high-quality deployment across multi-site estates.
  • Drive launch excellence and time-to-value, accelerating site activation and embedding Nory into daily operational workflows.
  • Design and run validation analyses, proving whether Nory’s models are working, where they’re not, and how performance can be improved.
  • Turn ambiguity into structured execution, breaking down complex operational problems into analytical frameworks, experiments and measurable outcomes.
  • Interrogate customer data deeply, using SQL, dbt, BI tools and modern data stacks to surface actionable insight.
  • Build trust in AI-driven decisions, clearly explaining forecasting logic, model trade-offs and experimentation principles to senior stakeholders.
  • Solve customer problems pragmatically, bridging technical gaps with lightweight Python solutions, automations or workflow improvements without defaulting to new product builds.
  • Support Enterprise pilots and solution design, contributing technical credibility during pre- and post-sales cycles.
  • Operate across multiple concurrent engagements, balancing pace, quality and prioritisation.
  • Act as a strategic feedback loop into Product and ML, translating frontline deployment learnings into roadmap influence and scalable improvements.
What success looks like

In your first year, success will mean:

  • Enterprise customers successfully launched across multiple sites
  • Strong adoption of core workflows (e.g. scheduling and future AI assistants)
  • High-quality analytical deliverables produced at pace
  • Clear validation that Nory’s recommendations are driving measurable operational improvement
  • Confident senior stakeholders who view Nory as mission-critical

This role is about turning technical capability into deployed, embedded impact – quickly and credibly.
