8+ years of experience in software engineering

5+ years of hands-on backend development (Python preferred)

3+ years leading engineering teams in SaaS or cloud environments

Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures (serverless, microservices, CI/CD, IaC)

Proven track record of delivering complex production systems at scale

Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of backend engineers

Own the technical direction and architecture of cloud-native services

Drive best practices around scalability, reliability, and security

Partner with Product and Architecture teams to translate business goals into technical solutions

Oversee the full development lifecycle from design to production

Ensure high engineering standards, code quality, and delivery excellence
