The Vendor Strategy Manager is responsible for the ownership and development of a Global IT-wide vendor strategy and guideline. The function is in close collaboration with the Towers and procurement to foster strong, business-aligned relationships with strategic IT vendors. The Vendor Strategy Manager is responsible for defining, steering and reporting the vendor relationship management practices.

How you will get the job done

  • being responsible for the development and implementation of a Global IT-wide vendor strategy and guideline
  • acting as a Single Point of Contact for Central Procurement, Third-Party Risk Management, Business Owners, Relationship Owners and auditors
  • supporting Business Owners and Relationship Owners to provide the mandatory regulatory deliverables
  • establishing and aligning a categorization and classification scheme for effective and prioritized management of vendor relations
  • establishing a report on vendor relationship fulfilment

  • fluency in English (C1)
  • at least 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • strong customer focus and ability to navigate complex topics
  • proven experience owning a business and partner/vendor relationships
  • relevant professional qualification (i.e. university degree in finance, economics or information technology)
  • a high degree of independence and drive to take on responsibility
  • consulting and collaborative working style, creating a culture of accountability and sharing
  • high level of service and internal/external client orientation, as well as operational efficiency
