Senior Backend Developer (Node.JS)

Responsibilities:

• We need your support in writing, deploying and maintaining production-grade backend code using TypeScript and Node.js for payment processing systems built natively on AWS.
• You will shape the architecture of distributed systems built with Node.js-based services and AWS-native components, with a strong focus on consistency, resilience and low-latency transaction processing.
• Together with your team you will solve reliability and scalability challenges in a real-world, high-integrity transaction environment using AWS-managed services.
• You will participate in operating, monitoring and continuously improving AWS-native Node.js backend systems running in production.
• You will collaborate closely with teammates and work with stakeholders across product, infrastructure and operations to make pragmatic and forward-looking decisions.

• 6+ years of experience as a Backend Developer with architectural responsibilities
• Successfully completed a degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a comparable field of study
• Strong experience working with TypeScript and Node.js, as well as additional backend languages such as Rust or Python
• Strong hands-on experience with native AWS services, particularly serverless architectures
• Prior knowledge of card payments and** information security** is considered a plus
• Knowledge and practical experience in agile methodologies and understanding its principles
• Very good communication in English and Polish
• Availability to work in a hybrid mode with at least 1 visit in the office per month
