The Role
We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our team, reporting to Director - Software Engineering. In this role, you’ll help shape how we develop and maintain the risk management and Basel reporting related products.

What You’ll Do
- Design, configure, and maintain data transformation flows using the Axiom ControllerView platform.
- Translate functional specifications into technical design and data logic.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of regulatory reports.
- Optimize and support data modeling and transformation flows for performance, scalability, and solving.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain quality and compliance.
This position will be located in Wroclaw and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

What You’ll Bring
- Proven years of experience in software development or data engineering roles, supported by an academic degree in computer science, math, or finance.
- Proficiency in SQL and strong understanding of relational database concepts.
- Ability to design and implement complex data transformation logic with accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving skills paired with attention to detail for high-quality results.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively across teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the financial services or regulatory technology (RegTech) sector.
- Exposure to Python, Java, or scripting languages.
- Familiarity with AxiomSL ControllerView or similar regulatory reporting platforms is a plus.
