Role Summary:

We are building a brand-new team responsible for delivering key components to the next step in Data as a Service (DaaS) – a strategic Data Platform that will enable London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) to unify, manage, and distribute data in a consistent and scalable way. This initiative is a key part of the LSEG–Microsoft strategic partnership, combining financial technology innovation with modern cloud capabilities. As a part of this team, you will work collaborating closely with one of the world’s largest cloud providers to design and implement solutions that power global financial markets. The first major delivery will be an Enabler for MCP Servers, laying the foundation for advanced AI-driven capabilities across the platform. This is a great opportunity to join rapidly developing project, shape its architecture, and build a platform that will transform how data is delivered across the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans across all phases of the software lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for distributed systems in a cloud environment.
  • Ensure high-quality work through rigorous functional, integration, performance, and security testing.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams on API testing and integration validation.
  • Work with modern CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure tools to enable continuous testing and smooth deployments.
  • Drive quality standard methodologies, including test coverage analysis and defect prevention.

Compensation Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated annual gross base salary for this position is between zł256,500 - zł427,500. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Bonus Plan (”bonus plan”). Target Bonus % will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Expert-level experience in software quality assurance with proven ability to validate complex systems.
  • 5+ years of experience in testing high-scale production environments.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures from a testing perspective.
  • Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with data validation and testing for data engineering workflows (Spark SQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages for automation (Python preferred).
  • Experience testing systems using alternative databases such as CockroachDB, Redis, DuckDB.
  • Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) for test environments.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform) and CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI) for automated test execution.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools and practices (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
  • Comfortable working with modern development environments (VS Code, dev containers) and cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure).
