Product Manager - Investment Management

The Investment management Workflows Product Team is responsible for building out the research analyst and portfolio manager tools for Workspace, LSEG’s next generation workflow for financial professionals.

What you'll be doing:

  • Working with Business Analysts and Technology teams to add to, refine and prioritise backlogs of owned applications to build a good backlog health and well understood outcomes.
  • Working with Frontline teams (Helpdesk, Customer Success Managers, Account Managers, Consultants, Sales) to educate them on existing features and new releases.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on our applications and be a point of escalation and reference for client issues or problems.
  • Liaise with marketing, sales enablement and sales, strategy and execution teams to ensure a constant message is aligned with the application features versus the target audience and personas.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurately branded and up to date, including short videos an learning collateral.
  • Assist general Investment Management initiatives such as SharePoint, Viva Engage, Power BI.
  • Monitor usage of your product suite and work together within IM team to produce a standard system.
  • Where applicable collaborate with teams across your division and LSEG as a whole to address feature gaps within your applications or augment other applications with your knowledge and understanding of the market and products.

What you'll bring:

  • Good interpersonal skills that will enable you to speak to a variety of people at multiple levels (from an intern to a c-level executive)
  • A willingness to learn about the client roles within the industry and the personas that you will be supporting.
  • An understanding of basic mathematical concepts, you should be able to work through basic mathematical equations and identifying figures in data
  • Work well independently as a representative of the wider team in your location but also have the ability to identify requirements needed from outside the team and collaborate with those teams to make a better application.
  • Previous experience from working in an asset/investment management firm and familiarity with the workflows surrounding the Investment lifecycle or experience working as a product manager within an agile based system (scrum/kanban).
