As a Senior Software DevOps Engineer you will join the AvionX Poland team consisting of highly skilled, high performing engineering team members supporting multiple product lines across Boeing AvionX.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role drives automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and operational excellence for cloud-native and on-premise embedded systems. The ideal candidate is an experienced engineer who can design and implement scalable, secure, and observable deployment pipelines, mentor engineers, and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve reliability and delivery velocity.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): * Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science * 6+ years of professional experience * Strong experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI * Knowledge of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and Linux system administration * Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams * English proficiency
Preferred qualifications * Proficiency in at least one high-level modern programming language * Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing systems (Grafana, Prometheus) * Familiarity with Build tools (Bazel, CMake, Maven, Bitbake) * Good knowledge of configuration and infrastructure management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Salt * Demonstrated design and system thinking skills * Collaborating in international and multi-national projects
