About the Role

Veeam Data Cloud is a comprehensive Backup as a Service (BaaS) solution that provides robust data protection and recovery for cloud workloads. VDC currently focuses on Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure workloads, but it is rapidly evolving to include additional workloads from the Veeam portfolio as well as expanding to cover net new SaaS services.

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct market research and analyze product feedback to develop empathy and deep understanding of customer needs in the areas of data protection and data security
  • Create and promote internally and externally a compelling vision and roadmap for your area that supports and evolves the broader VDC strategy
  • Translate your roadmap into feature specifications and requirements. Scope and prioritize new capabilities and improvements based on customer and business impact
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and QA to iteratively deliver a polished market-leading product
  • Define and measure success metrics for your product areas
  • Execute product launches and announcements with marketing and PR teams. Drive commercialization readiness through go-to-market and support teams
  • Evangelize your area, VDC, and Veeam more broadly through blog posts, webinars, and conference talks

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of experience as Product Manager building enterprise products in any vertical. Alternatively, 6+ years of related experience in Sales Engineering, Engineering, QA, or Technical Support for enterprise products in the data protection or data security vertical
  • Track record of delivery of at least one successful product or product capability through the full product life cycle
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Strong bias for action, ownership mentality, and driving things to completion. Ability to work independently and autonomously with demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at different levels, from deep technical discussions with product team through to strategy discussions with executives
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence without authority

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with building B2B SaaS software
  • Experience in the data protection industry
  • Familiarity with existing Veeam products (e.g. Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365, Veeam Backup and Replication; Veeam Backup for Azure and Veeam Backup for AWS)
  • Exposure to Microsoft APIs, particularly those related to Microsoft 365 and Azure
