You will join our Factory of the Future team within Group R&D - a passionate community of specialists who develop and implement the latest technologies for stone wool production.

Our team’s mission is to transform the way we operate by building next-generation OT & IT solutions that drive smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable manufacturing. As part of this journey, we are expanding our Data Science and Engineering capabilities and you could be a key part of it.

What you will be doing

  • Design, build, and automate data pipelines for industrial process analysis
  • Create systems for efficient storage and access to large-scale operational data
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility for ML model training and deployment
  • Develop real-time visualizations and dashboards to monitor industrial operations
  • Engineer data infrastructure for deploying ML solutions both on-premises and in the cloud
  • Evaluate and validate new technologies in production environments
  • Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and stakeholders to align technology across all levels of the organization

What you bring

  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in a production or industrial setting
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL, InfluxDB)
  • Solid programming skills in Python
  • Strong knowledge of data pipelines and ELT processes
  • Proficiency in data warehousing and data lake technologies (on-prem & cloud)
  • Experience with big data frameworks (Kafka, Apache Spark, Flink)
  • Understanding of IT/OT convergence and data quality management
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience with DevOps tools
  • Familiarity with Linux environments
