Product Owner of the Content Consumption Layer

We are now looking for a Product Owner to join the Content Consumption Layer team.
The Content Consumption Layer has a new team that is focused on injesting content from ePublications and Content Management Systems, enriching the metadata, and making the data available to our AI tooling.
The Product Owner is responsible for slicing Epics into Features and User Stories and for owning a healthy product backlog with the development and business teams. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual who can champion, manage and lead an agile development team while working with business stakeholders, UX researchers, and designers to solve problems and deliver business value.
Your key responsibilities:
- Contributing to Sanoma Learning's vision for our Content Consumption Layer (in alignment with Editorial Tooling such as our Content Management and Orchestration offering).
- Contributing to reviews and managing the Backlog (in terms of Features and User Stories), including the coordination of dependencies with other Product Owners.
- Coordinating product releases.
- Supporting product demos.
- Supporting Sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Team leadership, where you act as the product owner for a development team using the Agile Scrum methodology. Define user stories, manage the backlog and provide guidance on team activities to ensure successful sprints.

What we expect from you:
- Excellent problem solving and project management skills
- Experience of 3+ years as a PO or other suitable positions
- Previous experience working with Content Management Systems is ideal
- Knowledge of agile practises (preferably Scrum and SAFe)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to define clear development stories to different audiences
- Fluent communication in written and spoken English
- Experience in the educational industry is a big plus
