General Purpose:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Security Assurance Analyst to join our Information Security team. A successful candidate will work and partner with Legal and other Kyriba teams to ensure that all global privacy risks are anticipated, identified, recognized, and appropriately managed and in alignment with the Information Security audit plan and initiatives. A successful Security Assurance Analyst will perform reviews of business processes to ensure compliance with Kyriba’s privacy policy and assist in the preparation of audit findings along with the development of audit reports. The Security Assurance Analyst will also interact with audit management and the business stakeholders. We are looking for a creative and dedicated individual who will fit with our collaborative culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Advise on aspects of privacy laws and regulations affecting Kyriba’s global operations, with particular emphasis on GDPR, DORA, AI Act, and other large privacy or security initiatives
  • Organize and conduct internal privacy audits and data mapping activities
  • Assist with developing and maintaining Kyriba’s privacy compliance program
  • Support the privacy portion of Kyriba’s employee global training program
  • Provide privacy regulation input to vendor risk assessments
  • Draft and maintain privacy-related documents including but not limited to policies, procedures, internal rules and regulations and dataflow maps
  • Providing regular and ad-hoc advice on various business operations regarding privacy regulations
  • Supporting the Kyriba Privacy Office and the global privacy operations, including by keeping strong intra-team business relationships
  • Remain current in the field by reading publications, talking with peers, and attending classes
  • Ensure privacy controls are documented

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ year of experience in privacy and/or data protection compliance experience
  • 1+ year experience with privacy and security audits
  • Performing data protection impact assessments
  • Drafting privacy-related documents, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills in a diverse multinational environment
  • Ability to provide practical, risk-based advice
  • Privacy certifications are a plus
  • Strong technical writing ability
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Understanding information systems terminology
  • Knowledge of a variety of Information Security compliances (SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, SWIFT, etc.)
  • Team-player, able to work well with others, calm demeanor, persistence, ability to follow-through, adaptive
  • Some travel required (domestic and international)
