Data & AI Security Engineer

• Strong understanding of data security principles, cryptography, and privacy-enhancing technologies.
• Experience with securing AI/ML environments, including MLOps platforms and model registries.
• Familiarity with cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data protection tools (e.g., DLP, CASB).
• Knowledge of AI-specific threats and mitigation techniques (e.g., differential privacy, secure federated learning).
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and security automation tools.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CDPSE, Azure Security Engineer, Google Professional ML Engineer) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security strategies for data platforms, AI models, and machine learning pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling for AI systems, including adversarial attacks and model poisoning.
• Secure data ingestion, storage, processing, and sharing mechanisms across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Define and enforce access controls, encryption standards, and data governance policies.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate security into model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks related to data bias, model explainability, and ethical AI use.
• Lead incident response and forensic investigations involving data breaches or AI misuse.
