Senior Product Data Analyst (Fraud Platform)
Join our Data Insights team supporting the Fraud Platform to help detect and stop fraud in real time—without slowing down good users. You’ll be instrumental in analyzing telemetry, risk scoring, and fraud countermeasures to reduce fraud attacks and improve accuracy across our detection systems.
You’ll help us protect honest people online by:
- Translating data into action: Delivering insights aiding in reducing false positives and detecting emerging fraud patterns.
- Driving product clarity: Tracking and reporting on fraud-related metrics, including detecting accuracy, latency, and escalating volume.
- Unlocking opportunities: Identifying accuracy gaps and proposing intervening in scoring, telemetry, or modeling thresholds.
- Championing data quality: Defining and upholding reliable metric standardizing across the fraud detecting ecosystem.
- Owning impact analyzing: Validating the effect of new fraud modeling or thresholding via controlled experimenting or backtesting.
- Supporting scalable infrastructure: Building dashboards and alerting for monitoring fraud metrics and reducing escalating.
- Working cross-functionally: Aligning insights with Product Managing, Engineering, and Fraud teaming for reducing fraud without degrading user experiencing.

You are the right future Veriffian for the job if:
- Have 3+ years of analytics experience, ideally in fraud, security, or anomaly and pattern detection.
- Are fluent in SQL and have a working knowledge of Python.
- Are experienced in Tableau (or a similar BI tool), and can turn complex fraud patterns into actionable visualizations.
- Understand telemetry and risk scoring.
- Communicate effectively with engineers and policy stakeholders alike.
- Can reason across user behavior and adversarial tactics.
- Thrive in ambiguity and fast response environments.
You’re an especially awesome match if you have:
- Have experience building fraud scoring models
- Have worked in fintech, security, or trust and safety domains.
- Are familiar with streaming data or real-time alerting.
- Can debug, tune, and validate experiment frameworks for fraud impact.
