Solution Architect

As a .NET Architect, you will be responsible for defining the overall technical architecture of our .NET-based products and services. You will work with collaborators across the organization to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that meet business and customer needs. You will set architectural standards, guide development teams, and ensure alignment with modern engineering best practices. What You'll Do

• Architect and Design .NET Solutions: Define and maintain the overall architecture of .NET applications, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and meet performance requirements.
• Technology Strategy: Establish the long-term technical roadmap for .NET development, aligning architecture decisions with business objectives and future scalability.
• Teamwork: Work closely with product owners, developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other architects to ensure cohesive system develop and seamless integration.
• Code and Architecture Reviews: Regularly review solution compositions and code to ensure alignment with security guidelines and architectural principles.
• Tooling and Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend frameworks, libraries, and tools that improve developer efficiency, code quality, and system performance.
• Cloud and Infrastructure: Develop architectures that leverage cloud capabilities (Azure or AWS), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery.
• *Mentorship and Leadership: *Support and develop development teams on .NET procedures, build patterns, and new technologies.
• Scalability and Performance: Develop systems that can handle large-scale, high-throughput workloads typical in iGaming and digital entertainment.
• Governance and Standards: Define coding standards, architectural patterns, and documentation practices for consistency across teams.

• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate modern practices such as microservices, event-driven architectures, and API-first development. What We're Looking For

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in .NET development, with at least 3 years in a senior/architectural role. Prior involvement in the iGaming field or fast-paced transactions is beneficial.

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of .NET Core/ASP.NET, C#, REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-native application design.

• Tools and Platforms: Expertise with CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and cloud services (Azure or AWS). Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is highly desirable.

• Database and Integration: Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, caching strategies, and message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

• Security and Compliance: Proficiency in secure coding practices, identity and access management, and regulatory compliance within the online betting sector.

• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical direction and collaborate across teams.

• Education: *Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect) are a plus. *Why Aristocrat?
