Cloud DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a scalable and secure API management platform using cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement API gateways using Terraform and Helm to manage and deploy APIs to Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Java Spring Framework and MongoDB for data storage.
• Implement OAuth2-based authentication and authorization for API access control.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate APIs with our cloud-based applications.
• Manage and maintain a developer portal using a tool such as SwaggerHub or Apigee, to provide a centralized platform for developers to discover, subscribe, and consume our APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, scalability, and security.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud API management and implement them in our platform.

Qualifications:

• A university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in AWS/Azure, API management, and software development.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based API management platforms, including API gateways, OAuth2, and Terraform.
• Experience with Helm and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Proficiency in Java Spring Framework for developing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with MongoDB for data storage and retrieval.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance regulations.
• CI/CD and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Good communication in English and Polish.
• Openness to visit Katowice office once every 2 every weeks.
