Role Description
The Software Engineering team is responsible for the engineering and design of our enterprise-level SaaS application used by Public Relations and Marketing professionals. We are passionate about building modern, scalable and intuitive software while using some pretty awesome tools in the process. The successful candidate will offer experience with enterprise level applications and be passionate about scalable SaaS delivery. This role will develop mostly in . Net but an agnostic technologist is ideal for our environment. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, a strong ability to reverse-engineer and understand legacy codebases, and the capacity to derive system functionality and interdependencies from observation and code review.

You Have:
● 5+ years of experience developing web applications using C# / Microsoft .NET technologies ● A solid understanding of object oriented programming concepts. You should be comfortable with design pattern discussions and implementation. ● 5+ years working with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySql, Oracle, etc.) ● Experience developing innovative and scalable enterprise software by writing performant C# and SQL code (we support over 800,000 users across our applications and they expect speed) ● Experience with at least one modern front-end framework (Angular, Knockout, React, etc.) ● Experience with at least one messaging system(Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.) ● Write maintainable full stack code while working in a professional software engineering environment (e.g. source control, code reviews, unit testing, continuous integration, etc.). No cowboy coders please. ● Experience with Scrum in a fast paced, short sprint cycle environment ● Proactive, self-starting and positive attitude
Bonus Skills:
●ORM Lite or other object relational mapping framework (e.g. NHibernate, Entity Framework, etc.) ● Experience using various JavaScript technologies such as NodeJS, Angular, Bower, Karma, PhantomJS, etc. ● Unit testing (both backend and frontend), TDD or BDD ● SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) knowledge and experience ● Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (Kubernetes, GitHub) ● Have worked with various cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.)
