As our first Data & AI Engineer, you'll be diving into the technical challenges of building internal AI-powered systems to help us make better-informed business decisions at Oxylabs.io. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical thinker who enjoys hands-on technical work, has a passion for AI technologies, is eager to learn more, and wants to make a meaningful impact. You'll be developing and deploying AI-powered tools leveraging the latest AI models (including OpenAI's GPT, Anthropic's Claude, Google's Gemini, and Meta's Llama) that our internal teams will use daily.

Your day-to-day: * Build AI applications using Python, LLMs & RAG. * Conduct research with new LLM technologies and frameworks (with a focus on AI code editors and AI coding assistants) to keep our AI capabilities at the cutting edge and share your findings with others. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI-driven opportunities and integrate various solutions into their operations. * Fine-tune and optimize prompt strategies to enhance accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of LLM outputs. * Promote the adoption and understanding of AI within Oxylabs.

Gross salary: 3400 - 5600 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discuss a different salary based on your skills and competencies. Proficiency in at least one programming language, ideally Python. Experience with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini APIs) and AI application development. Experience with cloud infrastructure (ideally Google Cloud). Knowledge of best DataOps practices and tools including version control systems (e.g., Git), Docker, and CI/CD. You have an interest and passion for AI applications, as evidenced by work, personal projects, or academic experience. You have a high degree of ownership. You have an ability to prototype solutions quickly. You have a technical aptitude and comfort with engineering-related discussions. You're excellent at communicating in both written and spoken Lithuanian and English.

Nice to have: Familiarity with agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain) or workflow automation tools (e.g., n8n.io). Proficiency in deploying and optimizing open-source AI models (e.g., Llama) along with familiarity with related tooling (e.g., Ollama). Background in Machine Learning beyond LLMs (e.g., computer vision, traditional ML).
