The Role:

As a Senior Product Designer, you will be the champion for the user experience within a key area of our product portfolio. You'll own the end-to-end design process, from initial research and ideation to crafting prototypes and high-fidelity designs.

Working within a cross-functional team of product managers and engineers, you will: * Drive product strategy by deeply understanding our users' needs and the market landscape. * Translate complex user problems into intuitive design solutions. * Lead design execution, ensuring a seamless and high-quality user experience from concept to launch.

About You:

You are a strategic and hands-on designer with a passion for solving complex problems. You have a proven track record as a UX generalist, comfortable and experienced with every stage of the design process, from discovery and research to interaction and visual design.

You likely have: * Experience designing products for a technical audience (e.g., developers, QA engineers). * Demonstrated ownership of a product or a major product area, working directly with engineering and product management teams. * Comfort with autonomy and ambiguity, proactively identifying opportunities and driving solutions.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Product Designer, you will have a direct impact on our product and design practice. You will:

• Lead the full design lifecycle for a key product area, from initial research and strategy to high-fidelity design and iterative improvements post-launch.
• Conduct user research to uncover deep insights into user needs, behaviors, and motivations. Translate these findings into actionable product recommendations and elegant solutions.
• Design and prototype detailed user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate and validate design concepts.

• Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to define product strategy and deliver on both user and business goals.
• Be the voice of the user, clearly articulating design rationale and managing feedback cycles with key stakeholders throughout the discovery and development process.
• Leverage data and analytics to inform design decisions and strategically prioritize improvements for the overall product experience.

• Champion and contribute to our design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and adherence to best practices and accessibility standards.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve workflows and processes, leading initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the growth and visibility of the design team.
• Stay current with the latest UX trends and technologies, particularly within the B2B SaaS space.

Security responsibilities at Sauce

You’ll be expected to fully comply with all policies and procedures related to security at the department and org wide level and exercise a ‘security first’ approach to how we design, build & run our products and services.

We are a hybrid workplace that recognizes the importance of flexibility while valuing in-person collaboration and relationship building. As a result, Saucers located near an office location must be able and willing to come into the office. Those hired remotely must be able and willing to travel to an office as required by the specific role.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful, user-centered design solutions for complex applications.
• A deep understanding of UX, visual, and interaction design principles, with a proven ability to apply them to solve business and user problems.
• Proficiency in Figma and other industry-standard design tools.

• Proven ability to plan and execute both qualitative and quantitative user research to generate actionable insights that inform design decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across all levels.
• Experience in workshop facilitation in both a remote and in person environment
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Understanding front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

• A strong sense of ownership and the ability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Meticulous attention to detail that results in a polished and high-quality final product.
• Bachelor's degree in a design-related field or equivalent practical work experience.
