• Strong Linux expertise – including privilege escalation, process & memory management, and shell scripting.

• Dev + Security profile – proven ability to read, understand, and assess large codebases, especially in C++ and Python (Java and other languages a plus).

• Experience in source code review and secure coding practices.

• Proven skills in assessment of distributed systems, infrastructure, and networking protocols.

• Ability to recommend implementation changes to developers in real time.

• Solid understanding of networking protocols, infrastructure security, and web services (REST, SOAP).

• Experience with Linux-level and infrastructure penetration testing in a white-box context.

• Knowledge of cryptographic concepts, authentication mechanisms, and secure architecture design.

• Excellent communication skills in English (min. B2).

• BSc in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field – strong academic foundation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work embedded within development teams to perform white-box security reviews during the coding phase.

• Perform secure code analysis and architecture assessments for applications in development.

• Identify vulnerabilities in design or implementation before deployment, focusing on Linux-level and infrastructure security.

• Conduct security testing of distributed systems, web services, and inter-service communication.

• Provide real-time remediation guidance and influence design decisions to ensure “secure-by-design” principles.

• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and product owners to align security with business goals.

• Share knowledge and mentor team members in secure coding and architecture practices.
