About the role:
As a Software Engineer on the HUB team at Kyriba, you will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining Kyriba's connectivity hub, which handles critical financial communications and data transfers between banks, clients, and internal systems. You'll contribute to the development of bank file processing, SWIFT messaging, SFTP transfers, and other connectivity protocols, working closely with senior team members to deliver reliable solutions for Kyriba's global client base.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Discuss the requirements with Product Owners to design the most effective solution
- Collaborate with engineers inside of your team to deliver the most efficient solution
- Develop new business modules/functions
- Refactoring and optimization of existing code
- Focus on quality and test automation
- Active in continuous improvement of the process, methodologies, technologies and practices

Education, Experience & Skills:
- Development experience in Java (1+ year)
- Relational databases, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL
- Basic Knowledge of design patterns and principles
- Computer Science/Network Engineering, Engineering, or Mathematics major
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Nice but not mandatory to have experience in microservice architecture
- Nice but not mandatory to have experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker
- Nice but not mandatory to have experience with React
