Corporate Senior Network Engineer

Qualtrics is seeking a Corporate Senior Network Engineer to join our IT/Systems organization. Our teams depend on a great network experience to do their jobs. As a Corporate Senior Network Engineer, you will lead our efforts to build and maintain the best network experience we can offer our employees.

Things You’ll Do
- Build and maintain our global, corporate networks, creating a great experience for our entire team.
- Deploy world-class monitoring to proactively identify and address issues.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in corporate networking to drive continuous improvement.
- Automate responses to corporate network-related incidents, applying ITIL framework best practices.
- Be on-call to respond to network outages in different time zones globally.
- Research business needs for corporate networking and propose and advocate for the most effective and cost-efficient technology solutions.
What We’re Looking For On Your Resume
- 5+ years of corporate networking experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience in IPAM, network automation, VPN provisioning, or other network-related domains.
- First-hand, practical experience with software-defined networking, SASE, and MS Azure networks.
- Strong practical knowledge of Meraki products for corporate network operations.
- Strong practical experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting corporate wired and wireless networks based on Cisco equipment.
- Practical experience monitoring network performance and implementing tools for incident prevention through proactive monitoring.
- Experience and strong practical knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls.
- Experience with Network Access Control, with knowledge of Aruba Clearpass being a plus.
- Security-first mindset, with demonstrated experience operating office networks founded on the Zero Trust concept.
- Customer obsession, with demonstrated focus on delivering an excellent and smooth user experience for employees using the corporate network with both corporate devices and BYOD.
- Experience with Apple products on enterprise networks.
- Experience maintaining networks that handle high videoconferencing loads.
- Understanding of distributed/redundant DNS administration is a plus.
- Understanding of cloud network connectivity and operations is a plus.
- Project management skills, great interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
What You Should Know About This Team
- This will be the first team dedicated solely to the Corporate Network.
- You will be the charter member of this team, which will expand later in the year.
- You'll work with various members of IT and business leadership to ensure our networks meet the needs of our global workforce.
