Engineering Manager (Systems Mechanical)

Boeing Ukraine LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager (Systems Mechanical) to join their team in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Maintain active communication with Boeing Commercial Airplanes Engineering Groups regarding work forecasts, scope, resource needs, and potential risks.
- Liaise with the Customer to confirm and approve project and process requirements, including quality, budget, and timelines, clarifying technical specifications as needed.
- Define project goals aligned with organizational and business unit objectives, focusing on quality, timely execution, and customer satisfaction, in accordance with project development strategy and internal documentation.
- Track the achievement of project goals.
- Determine required resources for project execution, including developing staffing plans, organizational charts, and identifying necessary tools and processes in collaboration with technical leads. Coordinate with Systems and other discipline leaders, business units, and Capacity & Capability leadership as required.
- Monitor project progress and adherence to requirements, systematically analyze work results, and report on progress and outcomes to leadership.
- Develop and maintain essential project documentation, such as project plans and performance metrics. Identify and mitigate risks and potential negative consequences.
- Systematically gather customer feedback, analyze satisfaction levels, and develop corrective actions, reporting findings to leadership.
- Identify opportunities for project expansion, foster long-term customer relationships, and implement B2B solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering leadership experience.
- Proficiency in both verbal and written Ukrainian and English.
- Must have existing authorization to work in Ukraine.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in technical management and oversight of projects and resources.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering.
- Experience in developing and executing project and process plans, implementing policies and procedures, and setting operational goals for a team.
- Flexibility to support various time zones and off-hours work.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

- This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Kyiv, Ukraine.
