About the Position
AML RightSource offers advanced AI solutions for the financial services industry to expose entities involved in money laundering. You will be working on applications that provide customers with insights into financial activity risks. Our engineering teams operate remotely.
We are seeking a skilled Frontend or Full-stack Developer with frontend expertise to join our team. As a Frontend Engineer, you will be an individual contributor with an impact that extends beyond the code you write. Your responsibilities will include creating, articulating, and simplifying designs, providing thoughtful code reviews, and mentoring junior developers. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications using Python and React, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using React, Typescript, and Python, and contribute to overall app architecture.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement new features.
- Write clean, well-crafted, tested, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement and maintain automated tests to ensure quality and reliability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Solid experience with React, Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
- Good systems thinking and design awareness.
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership for the systems you build and maintain.
- Knowledge of web development best practices, including responsive design, web performance, testing, deployment, and security.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Proficiency with version control systems, such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications
- Backend experience (preferably Python).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
- Experience writing and maintaining automated tests.
- Experience writing and maintaining browser extensions.
- Experience with Storybook for component-driven development.
