The Role: Value Stream Product Manager, SimCorp One

This strategic role leads the overarching product strategy for the SimCorp One Solutions platform, ensuring alignment, scalability, and a unified client experience across various domains and services. You will own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap, bridging long-term vision with day-to-day delivery to ensure scalable, efficient, and repeatable solutions built on clear standards. You will report directly to the Chief Product Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Vision:
    • Incorporate regulatory, security, and data governance standards, market best practices, and client expectations into the product vision.
    • Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking.
    • Define and drive a cohesive, cross-domain product strategy.
    • Manage the full solution lifecycle: research, discovery, business case, development, launch, delivery, integration, adoption, iteration, and ongoing support.
    • Embed SaaS principles and commercial viability into all phases of design and delivery.
    • Drive adoption of repeatable design patterns, reusable components, and shared standards.
    • Lead product governance forums, strategic reviews, and stakeholder communications.
    • Contribute to go-to-market initiatives, including product documentation and sales/marketing enablement.
    • Provide thought leadership through webinars, whitepapers, and events.
  • Roadmap Ownership & Prioritization:
    • Translate strategic goals into outcome-driven plans shared between Product Development and Solution stream delivery teams.
    • Prioritize competing demands using data-driven frameworks and stakeholder collaboration.
    • Maintain transparent communication of roadmap goals, changes, and dependencies.
    • Monitor progress against milestones, metrics, and client outcomes, adjusting as needed.
    • Ensure delivery adheres to defined standards for quality, scalability, and operational readiness.
    • Maintain feedback loops to refine product direction based on market trends and client insights.
    • Own OKRs and KPIs related to reducing onboarding duration/effort and lowering cost of run.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • Act as a liaison between stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of goals and priorities.
    • Facilitate collaboration across teams to identify opportunities, manage dependencies, and remove blockers.
    • Provide leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring product features and services are fit-for-purpose.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on quality, performance, monitoring, issue resolution, and SLAs.
  • Strategic Platform Integration & PM Collaboration:
    • Serve as the strategic integrator across Product Areas and Business Services Solution Streams to ensure a unified SimCorp One platform vision.
    • Lead SimCorp One solution prioritization and cross-product coordination with GPMs/PMs.
    • Make decisions regarding trade-offs, shared services, and standardization.
    • Drive consistency, reusability, and operational alignment across services.
    • Create a collaborative environment where domain PMs contribute to shared goals and platform OKRs.

Experience collaborating with Product Development, Operations, Professional Services, and Commercial functions. Proficiency in outcome-based planning (OKRs/KPIs) and end-to-end product lifecycle management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Highly effective in establishing and maintaining communication and relationships across all organizational tiers, including executives and clients. Skilled at navigating and influencing within large, matrixed organizations.
  • Cross-Domain Product Leadership: Ability to unify multiple domain strategies into a cohesive platform roadmap. Comfortable making strategic prioritization and investment decisions. Experienced in building and governing collaborative frameworks across product and solution teams.
